SIA Top-Up Refresher Training Security Guard
Mandatory Refresher Training: From 1 April 2025, SIA Security Guard licence holders must complete a refresher qualification before renewing their licence.
Course Overview
This refresher training is designed for security guards who need to renew their SIA Security Guard Licence. It covers essential knowledge and practical skills required to maintain compliance with SIA regulations, reinforce professional conduct, and ensure a high standard of security operations.

Unit 1: Principles of Working as a Security Officer in the Private Security Industry (Refresher)
LO1: Know how to conduct effective search procedures
LO2: Understand how to keep vulnerable people safe
LO3: Understand terror threats and the role of the security operative in the event of a threat
Assessment:
- Multiple choice test (28 questions; 45 minutes)
