Renew one licence and train for a second with one booking. This Forest Gate bundle combines the 2-day Door Supervisor Refresher (with Emergency First Aid) and the full 3-day Level 2 CCTV Public Space Surveillance course. You complete both at our Forest Gate E7 centre and pay £30 less than booking them separately.

The refresher gives you the qualification you need to renew your Door Supervisor licence. The CCTV course is the full qualification for a new CCTV licence, which opens up control room and monitoring work alongside your door work.

Wednesday to Friday CCTV, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday and Sunday Door Supervisor Refresher, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM

One block, one week, both qualifications. You take five days out rather than two separate trips.

How the £420 Is Paid

After your deposit, the outstanding balance is £300, split across the two course start days. No finance agreement, no credit check, you simply pay as you go.

Part 1: Level 2 CCTV Public Space Surveillance Course (3 Days)

The SIA CCTV course in Forest Gate runs Wednesday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This is the full CCTV course, not a refresher, and it meets all SIA requirements including the mandatory 27 hours of guided learning.

What you will cover:

• Unit 1: Working within the private security industry
• Unit 2: Working as a CCTV operator within the private security industry
• Unit 3: Practical operation of CCTV equipment

Assessment: exam at the end of the course.

Part 2: Door Supervisor Refresher + First Aid (2 Days)

The SIA Door Supervisor Refresher in Forest Gate runs Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Since 1 April 2025, Door Supervisor licence holders must complete a refresher qualification before renewing. Self-study is required before the course; we send full instructions once you book.

What you will cover:

• Emergency First Aid
• Unit 1: Principles of working as a door supervisor (refresher), including search procedures, keeping vulnerable people safe, terror threats and spiking
• Unit 2: Application of physical intervention skills (refresher)

Assessment: multiple-choice tests and practical assessments.

Why Add CCTV While You’re Renewing

You’re taking time off for the refresher anyway. Adding three days turns one week into a second licence.

A CCTV badge opens control room and monitoring work indoor, shift-based and year-round, rather than weekend nights on a door. Plenty of officers use it to move away from late shifts as they get older, or simply to take work when the door trade is quiet. Holding both makes you considerably easier for an agency to place.

Our Forest Gate centre is in E7, East London, a two to five minute walk from Forest Gate station on the Elizabeth line, one stop from Stratford and direct from Liverpool Street. Woodgrange Park and Wanstead Park stations are also close by.

That makes it straightforward from across Newham, Manor Park, Upton Park, Plaistow, East Ham, Leyton, Leytonstone and Ilford.

Before You Book

You must already hold a Door Supervisor licence — the refresher renews an existing licence rather than qualifying you for a new one. Bring it with you, along with photo identification and two proofs of address.

Self-study is required before the refresher. We send full instructions once your booking is confirmed, so leave yourself time to complete it.
