SIA Top Up Training And First Aid Course Canary Wharf

SIA Top Up Training First Aid Course London, completing the Top Up Training Course for Security Guards (1 Day) and Door Supervisors (2 days) to renew your license will be compulsory. On 1 April 2021, the SIA introduced new critical safety elements to their licence holder qualifications.

This Top-Up Training Course ensures that current Door Supervisor and Security Guard licence holders have the same level of qualification as newly qualified SIAs who have developed top-up training. Since 1 April 2021, when the standards changed, top-up training will align the skills of those renewing licences with new licence holders.

SIA Top Up Training And First Aid Course Canary Wharf, from 1 October 2021. The Security Industry Authority (SIA) is changing the way that Security Guard (SG) and Door Supervisor (DS) licenses are renewed. From this date, to renew your licence you must complete ‘Top-Up’ training / “Top Up Door Supervisor Refresher”. 

This new SIA Top Up Training And First Aid Course at Canary Wharf is to renew your SIA Licence. 

This is a 2 Day SIA Top Up Training And First Aid Course at Canary Wharf

You must attend a 2-day course, once you place your order we will contact you directly with the dates available for you to attend. We have classes every week for the Level 2 Certificate.

Why do I need the SIA Top Up Training course for Door Supervisor License? 

Completing the Top Up Door Supervisor training to renew your license will be compulsory. On 1 April 2021, the SIA introduced new critical safety elements to its licence holder qualifications.

This Top Up Door Supervisor Training ensures that the current Door Supervisors and Security Guards can renew their Licence. The SIA has developed Top-up Door Supervisor training to align the skills of renewing licences with new licence holders since 1 April 2021.

What will the SIA Top Up Training And First Aid Canary Wharf course include?

Security Guard licence holders must undergo one day of top-up training.

This top-up training will include Terror Threat Awareness and Minimising Personal Risk for Security Officers. The SIA changes also require licence holders to have an Emergency First Aid Certificate. Before renewing your licence, you must prove you have a minimum of 12 months before your first aid certificate expires. Otherwise, before attending any top-up training, you must attend an Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) qualification or equivalent.
