Reporting Procedures

Overview

Responding to a slip, trip, or fall doesn’t end when the incident is under control. Accurate reporting is just as important as the immediate response. Security officers are often the first to witness or deal with accidents, and your reports provide the evidence that protects people, your employer, and yourself.

This module explains how to use the accident book correctly, understand your legal obligations under RIDDOR, and apply lessons learned to prevent reoccurrence.
