Workplace Controls

Overview

Preventing slips, trips, and falls is not about luck — it’s about putting the right controls in place. As a security officer, you play a vital role in spotting, maintaining, and enforcing these controls to protect yourself, your colleagues, and the public.

This module introduces practical workplace measures that reduce risks every day, and explains how they connect to UK safety laws, SIA licencing conditions, BSI standards, and NSI guidance.
